BGAN Link Details
Activation - The End User has 2 options: (1) Use up the allowance and then pay for out of allowance Mbytes or (2) Choose to restrict the usage only to the allowance - this requires further discussion with your account manager and has an activation fee on $1495.
BGAN Link plans are available for Class 1 terminals (only the Thrane & Thrane Explorer 700 and Hughes 9201). Class 2 terminals (except Hughes 9502) can be used for BGAN Link Geographic Plans.
BGAN Link plans are NOT currently available in Afghanistan and the USA.
The End User must provide the exact location of the User Terminal (Latitude and Longitude). If usage occurs outside of this location without prior notice, the services will be charged per BGAN Standard Rate Plan, NOT per this BGAN Link plan.
User terminal can be re-located once every three (3) month only. Cost per re-location is $1495, requires 45 days prior notice and new GPS co-ordinates to be provided.
Pre-approval by Inmarsat is required for all End User activations.
Traffic management and Usage rules apply to the Fair Use Policy (FUP).
