Do SIM cards come activated?

Your SIM card will be shipped inactive. Once you receive your sim, visit the activation page to initiate your service.

How do I activate my SIM?

Once you receive your new SIM card, contact us when you are ready for your card to be activated. Activation requests can be made 24 hours per day, 7 days per week via the SIM Activation Page.

How long does it take to activate my SIM?

SIM activations can typically be done within 2 business days, Monday thru Friday, during normal business hours. Activation details, including your Iridium phone number and expiry date, will be forwarded by email once your SIM is active. A free text message will also be sent to your phone.

I am in the process of procuring a satellite internet device and postpaid sim with basic data plan up to 20MB subscription monthly. I noticed that the 20MB data plan is very small. Since, I am going to purchase a postpaid, will I be able to access the int

The Inmarsat BGAN Flex package comes with a monthly data allowance of 20 MB. If you exceed this limit, the excess usage will be charged to the credit card on record. You can configure notifications and an automatic cutoff feature to activate when your data usage reaches a specific threshold.
